Driving For Freedom: We're Out Of Gas
Documentary: Feature (mini-series)

Amping up and energizing an educational feature film on petroleum conservation and alternatives seems like an obvious choice for filmmakers these days. Even so, I'm extremely pleased to be the first one to offer this type of project on this level. For more information, visit: drivingforfreedom.com

** IN THE CAN 2/25/08, Editing spring/summer

Now nearing middle age, Levi is having a hard time making something of himself. And though he's a likable guy, he hasn't always made the right decisions. Salina has been Levi's gift from heaven for several years now, even if Levi hasn't said so. Salina likes her dudes a little rough around the edges, but lately Levi's edges are wearing her a little thin, and she's ready for them to try someplace new. Naturally, Salina doesn't respond well when Levi acts as though he's not ready for change, sneaking off with his degenerate buddy, Simon.

Can Levi say goodbye to Memphis and move forward with his girl? Or will he keep doing the same thing forever?

On the Horizon...*

In addition to Driving For Freedom, New Perspective Films has four documentary features in development, all sharing a similar proprietary structure for education and inspiration through high energy entertainment.

Meanwhile, New Perspective Films also has three narrative projects in development—two features and one short. The short, entitled “The Fifth Planet,” was adapted from a short story written by Loren Eiseley (rights granted, Random House, NY). The two features are comedies with real-life dramatic grit and are currently in re-writes.
